American-British/ British-American Dictionary
Jeremy Smith put together this searchable dictionary, which has some useful side-by-side comparisons of which words are used or defined differently. Also some interesting links.

Word Choice and Matters of Fact
From “The Slot” by editor Bill Walsh (see a little below under “Copy Editing”). He has a number of comments from his experience translating from European news wires and press releases. Do a search for “British.”
